On the latest Nintendo Direct it was shown that new Super Mario themed items will come to Animal Crossing: New Horizons on February 25, 2021.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the fifth main entry in the Animal Crossing series, is a life simulation video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch. The player assumes the role of a human character who moves to a deserted island after purchasing a package from Tom Nook, a tanuki. The player can explore the island, gather and craft items, catch insects and fish, while developing the island into an anthropomorphic animal community.
