Roger Craig Smith, the voice of Sonic the Hedgehog has announced on social media that he will no longer voice the character. He had been the voice of Sonic since 2010.
He has stated on Twitter:
Welp, 10 years was an amazing run. Onward to new zones! Much love to the fans who've been so kind. It's been an honor.
Sega has shared a message thanking him for being an integral part of the company and bringing the voice of Sonic to life.

Roger Craig Smith is also known for other voice roles such as Ezio Auditore from Assassins Creed, Chris Redfield from Resident Evil, and Batman in Batman: Arkham Origins. He also voiced Kyle Crane in Dying Light and Mirage in Apex Legends.
