As of December 31, 2020, 20.35 million units of Pokémon Sword and Shield have been sold. This makes them the first Pokémon games since Pokémon Gold and Silver to surpass 20 million sales.
Pokémon Sword and Shield are two role-playing video games developed by Game Freak and published by The Pokémon Company and Nintendo. They were released on November 15, 2019 for the Nintendo Switch.
