The Pokemon Company has confirmed that the 2021 Pokémon World Championships have been canceled due to COVID-19 concerns.
There is hope that the Pokémon World Championships will return in 2022. The competitive event is expected to be held on London, United Kingdom.
Those that received invitations to the 2020 Pokémon World Championships will have them honoured for the competition.
