The World Ends With You countdown we talked about a few days ago is about to end. A new trailer has been released by Square Enix announcing that the anime adaptation based on the game will air in April 2021.
The animation was revealed in June 2020, during the Anime Expo Lite. Funimation then released the first teaser trailer in July 2020.
The World Ends With You is an action role-playing game with urban fantasy elements developed by Square Enix and Jupiter originally for the Nintendo DS. The World Ends With You: Final Remix is an enhanced port of the original game released worldwide in 2018 for the Nintendo Switch.
