Uri Geller, the magician that attempted to sue Nintendo back in 2000 based on the fact that Kadabra was an unauthorized parody of himself, has now apologized to Nintendo for getting Kadabra banned from the Pokémon Trading Card Game, giving permission to use it now.

He posted on Twitter:

"I am truly sorry for what I did 20 years ago. Kids and grownups I am releasing the ban. It’s now all up to  #Nintendo to bring my #kadabra #pokemon card back.
It will probably be one of the rarest cards now! Much energy and love to all!"

The claim was based on the fact that the japanese name of the Pokémon was Yungerer, a bit similar to Uri Geller, and that Kadabra could bend spoons without touching them, just like one of his acts.
